What Is HolisticNursingCE.com?
HolisticNursingCE.com is the primary project of Awakening to Grace, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization based in Lawrence, KS, USA.
We believe that when nurses are fully supported to actualize their potential, it will change the world!
Many nurses are under siege in parts of our current healthcare system.
Racism, bullying, violence in the workplace, unacceptable staff-to-patient ratios, and high complexity of patient needs
... are primary contributors to the national average for turnover rates being as high as 40%, depending on geographic location and nursing specialty.
These factors contribute to increased risks for illness and injury on the job and a suicide rate among nurses that is significantly higher than the national average.
Let's face the facts: These problems existed before the COVID19 pandemic and they are even more serious now.
To be the change we want to see in the world, we need meaningful continuing education that helps us practice safely, holistically, and to the full extent of our license and vision ... and that includes basic business education that's aligned with our professional values, ethics, and power.
