The Greatest Gift You Can Give Yourself

Sharon Burch

The greatest gift you can give yourself is the gift of appreciation. When you understand who you are, what you are best at, how you contribute with the most ease, and where you need others to share their gifts with you, you naturally shine and allow the best assistance and opportunities to flow into your life.

Based on the Five Element theory, derived from the I Ching, there are five energies of entrepreneurship. Rather than trying to force your life and your business along the lines of awkwardness, friction, or resistance, wouldn’t you prefer to allow your life and business to flow according to your natural energetic blueprint? You can! It begins by understanding the energetics of your aptitudes, genius, and blindspots.

The Wealth Paradox

The "Wealth Paradox" states that the more money you have, the more opportunities to lose it.

Without true wealth, all the money that flows through you will disappear. So how do we define wealth?

"Wealth is what you still have if you lose all your money."

~ Roger James Hamilton, Creator of Wealth Dynamics and Founder of GeniusU

Wealth creators create a river of flow. There are trillions of dollars flowing around our planet every day, so you don’t need to “make” money. Instead, you simply need to tap into and direct its flow.

Wealth isn’t about making money. It’s about creating good plumbing that directs energy flow without leakage.

We each have a natural way to create our flowing river of wealth, and this is how the Wealth Dynamics energy grid is formed (below). This becomes easier to understand when we see the wealth equation:

WEALTH = VALUE x LEVERAGE

As water always flows from high to low ground, wealth always flows from high to low value. Whoever values something more will be happy to pay for it, and whoever values the money more will happily receive the money. Thus, value determines the speed of wealth flow (the greater the value, the steeper the river and the faster the wealth will flow).

Leverage is the width of the river, so it determines the volume of wealth flow. If I had a widget that I sell for $100, I could double my flow by increasing value (a widget worth $200) or increasing leverage (two widgets worth $100 each). Wealth creators intuitively understand how to grow their river of wealth through value and leverage.

The Opposites of Value and Leverage

Very few of us realize that there are two opposites to value and two opposites to leverage, and we are each more naturally inclined toward one than the other. These four polarities make up the sides of the Wealth Dynamics energy grid.

  • Intuitive thinkers create value through innovation (they create new things)
  • Sensory thinkers create value through good timing (they trade the markets)
  • Introverts leverage value through multiplying (making it simple and making many)
  • Extroverts leverage value through magnifying (making it complex and making only one)

The Wealth Dynamics energy grid gives us the relationship between the eight Wealth Profiles. Think of the grid as an eight-sided mountain with different rivers flowing down each side. Each of us has our flow, which naturally links our dreams to our reality.

What Are “Wealth Dynamics Profiles”?

The Wealth Dynamics Profile test is an online self-assessment tool that helps you become a more agile person, business owner, and leader. By knowing your Wealth Dynamics Profile, you can more clearly assess and step into the best role to play in your business. It also helps you identify the right products, customers, partners, and pathways for you as you move through the different stages of your business’s development.

The Wealth Dynamics Profile test helps us align our life to where our natural energy is flowing. More than one million people around the world have taken this test.

What Makes Wealth Dynamics Unique?

Most job-seekers have been through the experience of taking personality tests of one kind or another. However, Wealth Dynamics is unique compared to other personality tests in the following five ways:

  1. Tailored to entrepreneurs: Wealth Dynamics doesn’t put you in a box. Instead, it highlights a formula and path specifically for entrepreneurs and offers role models to follow.
  2. Synchronized to time: In fast-changing times, Wealth Dynamics is the only personality test that shows you how your strengths link to the cycle of time.
  3. Intuitive and easy to follow: While many personality tests are not easy to explain to others, once you know the eight profiles and how they link to the way we create and leverage value, it’s easy to explain and apply to others.
  4. Linked to your natural energy flow: You can use Wealth Dynamics immediately to grow and measure your flow.
  5. Linked to your entrepreneurial spirit: Through its link to the I Ching and the five Chinese elements, Wealth Dynamics links to the fifth element - spirit, your purpose, and the question ‘why.’

The Five Elements at Work

In addition to the Five Elements that make up your energetic blueprint, your work can be seen through the Five Elemental energies, too.

Wood energy is all about new beginnings.

  • Creative tasks (WHAT), such as strategy, big picture thinking, graphic design, and writing

Fire spreads amongst hearts and minds.

  • People tasks (WHO), such as networking, sales, presenting, speaking, negotiation, making introductions, and interviews

Earth energy is where we ground.

  • WHEN and WHERE tasks, such as order fulfillment, customer service, quality assurance, giving coaching sessions, and team check-ins

Metal energy brings order and accountability.

  • Detailed and systematic tasks (HOW), such as accounting, payroll, budgeting, scheduling, paperwork, technical writing, and programming

Water energy brings it all together.

  • Tasks that connect us to our WHY, such as visioning, contributing, masterminding, inspirational walks, and volunteering

How much can you focus on the work that aligns with your energetic blueprint and delegate the work outside of your strengths? Others who have genius in those areas will enjoy that work and perform it much better than you. So why not claim your genius zone and let the friction, fatigue, and resistance you experience when you’re out of your flow simply leave your life?
